If I've learned anything from the beats of guys like Nico Jaar or the mixes of guys like Soul Clap and Shigeto, it's that hip hop has a place in house. The grizzly bear, Jonwayne, keeps it real with some underground beats and a sound sort of like Madvillain. The Southern California native dropped the 20 track mixtape, This is False, for free and describes it as, "not so much a pile of songs as it is an executed concept in viewing how our surroundings change our energy and vibrations."

After her first release on Magnetik Grooves this past March and receiving early support from the likes of Hector Couto, Tina V has begun to create a name for herself in the clubs of her hometown of Oslo, Norway and in the UK. Her unique, funky, and bass-heavy tech house will undoubtedly gain her more attention in the future. 

Since she hasn't gained much popularity yet, I was able to only give partial samples, so I put two on here. This one is definitely worth downloading.
